Terry Goodkind & the Sword of Truth Series
Recently on Netflix I watched a show with my daughter called Legend of the Seeker. It was an intriguing show and when we discovered that they were based on books we both were excited since we both like to read.
As per usual the books are better, and I'm saying that even thought the show was excellent. If you'd like to know more here is a link to the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sword_of_Truth
Though I must say, it is a little out of date. I think it states there are 13 books in the series but now there are more like 18. At any rate, they are good. Interesting characters and plot that moves.
