Iscariot by Tosca Lee (Kindle Edition)
The story begins when Judas is 6 years old. Judas Iscariot begins the journey he has waited for all of his life. The story unfolds with John the Baptist and John's cousin, the Nazarene they called Jesus - the man who would become Judas's greatest friend. And the story continues through the betrayal of this greatest friend, The Master he delivers to his death.
Very little is known about Judas Iscariot's youth and his family and it's important to remember this book is fiction. The writer has taken many liberties with this powerful story, but has penned a masterpiece with details that bring the past to vibrant life.
This was a story that was completely absorbing and wonderfully written - a book to be savored. I highly recommend.
