The Lacuna, by Barbara Kingsolver

Unfortunately life in Mexico during the thirties is not as enticing as the author's cognomen. I had to give up waiting for Trotsky to fool around with mural painter Rivera's wife. This book certainly needs some sexual tomfoolery to make the pages turn easier.
